For the preliminary task myself, Harrison, Molly and Dean found an empty classroom in school where we begun our short film in order to get practise for the final piece. We decided I would film and then the others would act in it.Firstly, I filmed Molly sitting at a desk as a secretary. Harrison then walked into shot and the camera switched onto a match on action shot, focusing on Harrison's hand grabbing the door handle, opening it and walking into the room. Once harrison was in, I used a an extreme close of up Harrison's face and a long shot of Dean's whole body. The camera zoomed out to pan while they both sat down. I then used shot reverse shot as Harrison and Dean were having a conversation. As there was no sound, he used a fast paced shot to create the tension that was needed. Then I used the 180 degree rule to film Harrison and Dean's conversation at the table. Lastly as they both got up i used framing with a love heart shape and filmed through it to both of them getting up and leaving.
